Brooks Proofide leather grease

A new leather Brooks saddle should be treated with Brooks Proofide leather grease to the 'occupants' process to assist. Brooks Proofide keeps the leather supple and by Brooks specially formulated from natural ingredients that make condition the leather and saddle rain resistant. Proofide is the only fat to be used to care for your leather Brooks saddle to optimally perform.

The main ingredients are Proofide tallow, cod liver oil, vegetable oil, paraffin, beeswax and citronella oil.

Spend a little Proofide on the finished side of the leather. Let the Proofide sit until dry and then brush it off. Proofide is to be used several times during the "sitting" period, and every 3-6 months thereafter.
On bicycles not fitted with mudguards, a first application will be at the bottom of the saddle are useful, this rough side does not need to be polished.
